Businesses were represented from Tencer, Staytite, Airflow, Instron, Hovis and Mediplus reviewed proposals for improvements to active transport across Cressex, plans for a new signage and waymarking scheme across Cressex and projects tackling grot spots and litter. An update was also provided from representatives of Railpen regarding proposals for developments to land at Caste Estate on Cressex Business Park.
The BID Board was also attended by Buckinghamshire Council representatives including local Cllr Lesley Clarke and council officer Jacqueline Ford who reported on progress by the council in delivering some of the baseline services, active travel improvements and opportunities to tackle pot holes where they develop.
The BID Board will meet on a regular basis throughout the five year term of the BID to ensure that the voice of businesses is at the front of directing and governing the £1million investment planned by the Cressex BID.
